Library Building
Weatherization Improvements
This Design/Build JOC project kicked off with full drawings and specifications for Owner approval before construction began. The work focused on restoring and protecting the building’s exterior. Scaffold and stair towers provided safe roof access, while crews cleaned and sealed the brick and limestone surfaces. We installed new flashing under the coping, removed and re-caulked building joints, made spot masonry repairs, and ensured the existing roof was fully protected throughout the process. BGI hired Gervasio & Associates Inc., forensic engineers, to inspect and verify that the limestone cladding was secured to the structure, eliminating safety issues.
