What started as a full remodel evolved into a phased finishes upgrade to better align with hospital operations and minimize disruption. Spanning 35,000 SF, this project at HonorHealth Shea Medical Center required an extended preconstruction period to carefully plan scope, phasing, finishes, infection control, communications, and wayfinding. Work in 34 patient rooms & restrooms, 6 nurses’ stations, reception area and corridors were scheduled across 10 phases, all designed to keep the facility running smoothly while refreshing the space. The construction schedule remained flexible throughout the project to accommodate fluctuating numbers of maternity patients, ensuring that patient care always came first.
