There is no facet of our work on which we place greater emphasis than SAFETY. We are relentless in our commitment to provide a safe and healthy working environment for our employees, subcontractors and suppliers. We will maintain our projects in a manner that does not cause undue risks to our clients Staff, Visitors, Vendors or Suppliers.
To this end, we include the following components in our Safety and Loss Control Program:

- New Employee Safety Indoctrination prior to reporting to a job site. This includes video based training session, examination, and issuance of the BGI Employee Safety Handbook.
- Provision for all required PPE including hardhats, safety glasses, ear plugs and gloves as well as instructions regarding their proper use.
- Hardhats required on all jobs, at all times.
- Weekly (Minimum) Project Toolbox Safety Meetings. This is a requirement for all on site Subcontractors as well.
- Inclusion of a “Subcontractors Safety Responsibilities” agreement as part of all Subcontract Agreements. This document must be signed by an officer for each Subcontractor on every job.
- Daily job walks and project risk assessments by Project Superintendents.
- HazMat communication and accessibility to HazMat information by all employees.
